IIG Public Update #19

April 2009

Spring is here, and that means it’s summer. Sorry, this joke makes sense if you live in L.A.

Of course the biggest news of April is . . .

CALIFORNIA NURSES

On April 5th IIG’s Nurse Education Branch – The California Foundation for Institutional Care – will have its first class for registered nurses - Feng Shui for Home Care Providers. Visit CFI's website, where you can find information on making reservations, and here is a link to our press release.

Remember, this course is actually certified by the California Nursing Board, and registered nurses will receive credit.

TENNESSEE TELEPATH

Raymond P. from the Volunteer State is scheduled to take our preliminary test for the $50,000 paranormal challenge on June 29th. He now claims that he will be bringing his own attorney to witness the demonstration. Curses, foiled again . . . ?

IIG AWARDS

Mark your calendars! May 18th is the date of the third annual IIG Awards for the promotion of science and reason in entertainment. We have presenters, recipients and guests who are so famous, we cannot reveal their names here! Check out the official IIG Awards page for more details.

THAT’S ALL

Enjoy Thomas Jefferson's Birthday, Earth Day, Arbor Day, and some pagan holiday called "Easter".
