The Billy Meier Case | ||||||||
That's how long it's been since we formally challenged Michael Horn to produce testable physical evidence to prove the extraterrestrial contact claims of Billy Meier.

Some background: Beginning in early 2001 and continuing today, IIG members have been engaged in a debate with Michael Horn over the UFO contact claims made by Swiss farmer Billy Meier in the 1970s. In 2003, this debate really escalated and several email letters and press releases were exchanged between both parties. Basically, Michael Horn, in an amazing display of logical fallacy, has stated that if the IIG cannot prove that the Billy Meier UFO claims are a hoax then Billy Meier is entitled to our Paranormal Challenge monetary award, and that we have proved that UFOs are real. However, Mr. Horn fails to comprehend one simple matter. Neither Michael Horn nor Billy Meier has ever actually applied to have their claims tested by the IIG to make them eligible for the Paranormal Challenge. Not to mention the even more basic fact that the burden of proof is on the claimant, not on the IIG to disprove the claimant's claim. Keep checking back for updates...more analyses and replicative experiments to come! We have several things to offer for your consideration in this case: |

Who is Ike42? In April 2004, a man who goes by the internet moniker "Ike42" became interested in the discussion taking place between Horn, the IIG, and Randi. He is not a member of the IIG, he thought that the debate was interesting and decided to take it upon himself to see what he could find out about Meier's predictions. In a few short weeks, he compiled a detailed report on research he undertook into several of Meier's, and by extension Horn's, prophetic claims. He gave us permission to publish this report, which you can read by clicking above.
